Job Description:
Responsible to the Manager of the Central Market for various food preparation and catering support activities. 10am-7pm M-F with Alt Weekends 1. Prepare meals for student menu and catering events. 2. Prepare soups, drinks, deli trays, and sack lunches. 3. Perform catering support activities to include serving and storing food. 4. Clean kitchen equipment and work area. 5. Locate items from storage area and transport to work area for use in preparing menu plan and catering events. 6. Train student workers and new employees. Hiring range $10 -$10.73/hour
Requirements:
High school education required. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide to include working with decimals and fractions. May be required to interpret results from the use of gauges and other adjustable measuring devices and formulas and specifications. One to three years of effective experience required. Food service sanitation training required. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
